Organist Needed
Grace Lutheran and St. Luke’s Lutheran Churches in Omaha (websites – graceluth.com and stlukesomaha.org) are in search of an organist. We are a joint congregation of 50+ worshiping members. Each church has a two manual pipe organ (Reuter at St. Luke’s; Temple at Grace). The organist would play for Sunday morning services, Wednesday evening services during Lent, and Holy Week services.
Service music would include a Prelude, 3-4 hymns, Lutheran liturgy and a Postlude. We will consider a talented student. The contact person is Rev. Dr. Damon Laaker (402-672-0241) or [email protected]
Sunday morning Worship Service during the month of November will be held at St. Luke’s Lutheran, 2315 I Street, at 9:30 am. All are invited to attend the Thanksgiving Eve Service hosted by St. Matthew’s, 1725 South 60th Street, on Wednesday, November 23rd at 6:30 pm. Fellowship and Refreshments will follow worship service. This year the first Sunday of Advent is on November 27th.
