With the promise of warmer weather, the Council members of both Grace and St. Luke’s are planning to have Easter Sunday Worship Service beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the front yard at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 2315 “I” Street.

If you are planning to attend, please wear a mask, bring your yard chairs, maybe a blanket to keep warm, and maintain social distance. Come and Celebrate Easter and the Risen Christ together!

During our journey through this season of Lent we will be reassured of God’s Love that is shown to us in so many ways! May we be able to listen, learn and see God’s Love daily in our lives. Included within March’s issue of the Grace Messenger you will find opportunities to support not only the ministries of Grace Lutheran Church, but also the surrounding community and our global neighbors.

Included within the Grace Messenger are preparations for Lent beginning with Ash Wednesday, opportunities on how to serve or help the surrounding community through the Loaves and Fishes Pantry, supporting Souper Bowl Sunday, and collecting items for Personal Care Kits this Lenten season that are in high demand during the pandemic.
