Celebrating Easter

Grace Lutheran Church will be celebrating Holy Week and Easter with the following services: Palm Sunday, April 17th Worship service with Palms at 10:30 a.m., Maundy Thursday, April 21st, fellowship and dinner at 6:00 p.m. followed by Worship Service at 7:00 p.m. with a Stripping of the Altar. Good Friday Worship Service, April 22nd will be at 7:00 p.m. Celebrate the Joy of the Risen Christ with Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. followed by breakfast at 8:00 a.m. The Joy of the Risen Christ continues at the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service.

Souper Bowl of Caring

Grace Lutheran has participated in this important event for a number of years. We will once again participate on Sunday, February 6. We encourage people to bring canned goods, donations ($), paper products, etc. These gifts will be shared with the Lutheran Pantry, our direct service partner here in Omaha.

Unity Rally for the Good Life

We oppose an Arizona-style law in Nebraska. We support common-sense immigration reform at the Federal level. You are invited to a rally on Tuesday, January 11, at noon. We’ll meet at the Westside of the State Capital, 14th & Lincoln Mall. Come out and show your support.

Happy New Year!

The new year begins with God’s blessings! We remember with thanksgiving all the ways God has blessed us throughout 2010 and look forward to the many ways God’s blessings with surround us in 2011.

Celebrating Christmas

Grace Lutheran will celebrate Christmas with worship on Christmas Eve, December 24, 6:00 pm. The service will include the reading of the Christmas story, Christmas Carols, Communion and Candle Lighting.

December News

December has arrived. We remember all the ways that we are blessed. We anticipate with joy the celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We invite you to come and prepare with us. Come and celebrate the wonderful ways God continues to bring God’s blessings into our lives, even when we least expect it.
