Holy Week and March News

But not so with you; rather the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like one who serves. Luke 22:26
In this passage, the disciples were fighting over who was the greatest. Jesus confronted their arrogance by offering an example of himself. Jesus was a servant-leader who did not force God’s love on anyone. Instead, he spoke the truth and confronted evil, if necessary. But in the end, he did not resist evil’s final attempt to silence him, even to death on a cross. God calls us to lead – and follow – looking to Jesus’ example to serve.
